Helping Entrepreneurs Stand Out & Sell More — Without Breaking the Bank

On August 6, 2025, I had the honor of facilitating a bilingual brand strategy workshop for the LIFT Los Angeles Entrepreneurship Program, titled:


“Stand Out & Sell More: Marketing on a Budget.”

Delivered in both Spanish and English, this session was created for small business owners who are eager to grow — but who may feel limited by time, resources, or a big marketing budget.

Sell more without spending more by learning how to tell your business story with purpose and clarity.

Brand Strategy — A Tool for Focused Growth

Many entrepreneurs have incredible products or services but struggle to communicate them in a way that feels authentic and connects with their ideal customers.


In this workshop, we explored how thoughtful brand strategy can change that — even without a large marketing budget. We focused on how to use your existing tools and personal story to:

  • Build trust

  • Strengthen your message

  • Attract the right audience


We broke down the three key elements of brand messaging:

Clarity

Consistency

Connection


These three pillars serve as the foundation for any strong brand — regardless of industry or budget.


Practical Tools, Real-Time Application

Participants were also introduced to a simple value statement framework they could immediately begin applying to their own businesses (no jargon, just action).


And because learning is most powerful when it's collaborative, we incorporated breakout room activities, giving each entrepreneur time to reflect, refine, and share ideas with one another in a supportive, bilingual environment.


Community, Culture, and Confidence

What made this experience so meaningful wasn’t just the content—it was the energy.

Entrepreneurs showed up ready to learn, support one another, and move forward with more focus. Whether speaking Spanish or English, every participant had access to tools and insights that were relevant, practical, and designed to help them grow—on their terms.


Final Thoughts

Workshops like these are a reminder that you don’t need to do more—you just need to get clearer.


When your message is aligned with your mission, customers not only pay attention—they trust you. And trust leads to growth.
