After a year of quietly building and evolving my business in 2025, I’m excited to finally share that I was featured in Rising Tide Capital’s instructor highlight last May. It feels like the perfect moment to celebrate this milestone as we get ready for the Fall 2025 Community Business Academy cohort graduation.
Over the past 2.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and mentoring early-stage entrepreneurs through LIFT‑Los Angeles’ Community Business Academy, in partnership with Rising Tide Capital.
As a Spanish-language instructor, I guide founders through practical, hands-on business skills—from ideation and marketing to development and business finance—while fostering a supportive community where they feel confident to grow their ideas. It’s incredibly rewarding to see these entrepreneurs overcome obstacles, restart, and refocus their businesses, even in challenging times.
The Rising Tide Model provides a strong, structured curriculum, and I love helping students apply it to real-world business challenges while honoring their unique experiences and values. This work reminds me that entrepreneurship isn’t just about building a business—it’s about building community.
